The topics of quality and equality are of utmost importance in early childhood education and care in these turbulent times that we live in. Not only the pandemic has changed the way that we see and experience early childhood education and care, but recent economic crises and war conflicts all over the world demand to shift our focus to the well-being of young children within a quality driven education for all. In this context, the conference will bring together specialists from different European and other countries to explore the notions of quality, as well as equality and equal access to crucial educational opportunities for all young children.

The conference is addressed to academics, researchers, scientists, early childhood educators, primary school teachers, special and general education teachers, psychologists, sociologists, undergraduate and postgraduate students, PhD candidates, cultural workers and other professionals.

Thus, the conference aims to give the opportunity not only to researchers and academics to present their work, but also to young professionals and students to become aware of today’s challenges in the field of early childhood education and care in different countries around the world.
